SA Pulse is how we give back — deliberately and consistently. Four times a year, our team packs up, leaves the desks behind, and drives out to communities across South Africa. This is the story behind the programme, and why it's structured the way it is.
Why quarterly, not annually
Most corporate outreach is a once-a-year photograph. We built SA Pulse on a different conviction: showing up regularly is the whole point. A school we visit every quarter can plan around us. A learner we mentor sees the same faces again and again. Consistency is what turns a donation into a relationship — and a relationship into an outcome.
What we actually do
- Educate — digital literacy and AI-awareness workshops for learners and community members, from basic computing to what AI means for their working futures.
- Connect — leveraging our TechConnect relationships to support affordable connectivity in underserved areas, because internet access is opportunity access.
- Inspire — our engineers and consultants mentoring young South Africans toward careers in technology, with real guidance from people doing the work.
- Sustain — long-term partnerships with schools, NPOs, and community organisations making structural change, not once-off gestures.
Why a business does this at all
We've been privileged to build a company in this country since 2010. The honest version: South Africa gave us our clients, our team, and our story — and a technology industry that doesn't widen its own talent pipeline is eating its seed stock.
